Depends how quick release it all is. If you can take it all back to "normal" in five minutes, great. If it is semi stuck with that tat,

Not liking it. Not much liking it even with out all this stuff. Especially for how much it cost.

I'm always seeking better mounting options /new "fastener" systems for my own alternative storage containers.

They haven't given up on fast.
It will still blow away a VROD.

However I don't like it and won't be trading my Black Carbon for one.
I don't care they decided to build it, it just won't end up in my garage.

I'm waiting for the inevitable R or S model that will have the dual spark engine and the Ohlins Skyhook suspension. Then I'd be willing to do a trade. Maybe 2014?

No, I think they are an engineering underdog. As long as it was Superbike and they had a displacement advantage to run twins against 4's they were winning big but in the GP class, which has been to now a "Development" class, meaning the bikes run could not be based on Street Designs, they have been at the tail end of the curve.

I am amazed at what they have been able to do against the Honda and Yamaha powerhouse design budgets. Development of a V-4 engine at a time when Honda had been building and racing them for years was a Herculean task and they have done what I think their smaller team and budget have permitted.

So "fast or slow" is relative, slower than the big dollar (yen) teams but still faster than the twins they replaced. That coupled with a Oranizing Body (you hear me NASCAR?) that changes the rules frequently and not always intelligently.

This passed year, due to increased costs of "exotic" machines with no connection to street products, and lowered attendnace due to lower financial conditions everywhere they have run two classes, the true GP and the more Street based CRT group bikes with mixed crowd enthusiasm. Now I understand that the Organizing Body that runs World Superbike is taking over the MotoGP circuit as well so it will be interesting to see what the future holds for continuing two distinct large displacement racing franchises in competition with each other for resources.
