Not all of 'em, I'm a short guy and I like mine just fine. It's traditional cruiser guys that are accustomed to riding around on these slammed, no suspension, 12" seat height recumbent motorcycles that don't like it

The point is (I have not read the article) that they were not popular and are hence cheap. At which point they are quite a buy...

I love my R...I'm keeping it for sure. I have never invested so much money in something to have such poor resale value. It's one of those mistakes I hate and love. The only way to get a return is to ride it out. Plus, still gets tons of looks every where I go and nobody knows what it is, especially where I live....

No, it doesn't mention price other than to list KBB value.

Good value buys are out there...you just have to spend the time looking. In my case too much time...lol.

I've recently seen LOW mileage
'05 SE's for <$10k,
'03 A's <$6.5k and
R's <$5k...

I just need the cash...ugh.

Where did you see an R less than $5k that hadn't been wrecked?? I saw maybe one on craigslist but I've never gotten a response from the emails I've sent.

The R was in Ohio. It's showing deleted as of this afternoon.

Here are two close to that price...

I saw those other two - wish I had seen the one in Ohio! I had a few people not respond to my initial email including the guy Oregon above.

I've had similar experience. Seems like many people don't pull their ads down after a sale... I'd suggest keeping an eye on the classifieds here. Much better!

No Lewis, Cycle World Magazine loved the R when they first tested one. That's why I asked if the used bike write up was by Brian Catterson, because he absolutely loves the R. For good reasons too.
