As you can see they are completely different. The bottom picture is my actual turbo GT25 the same as Rods.
Where are you coming up with that we have a 1241 ?
The 1241 is only good for up to 130 horsepower.

Karzza

Why not build a throttle body to to fix the Trask issues like Jan did. This would allow us to use the trask plenum and have clearance to fit under the air box.

Hey man,

Glad to see that you are trying to help out.

If you read the post you will see that I run a trask turbo kit.
If your turbo is a 1241 then it is what it is.

Our turbo's are the gt-25's.

How and when it got changed I do not know.

We are just trying to make an improved plenum.

Post up some pics and details of your plenum.
I am interested in seeing what you have done.

We are tryijng to help everyone out here in this tread just not ourselves.

@doug, Thanks for the link and keep the pics coming.

I know you have your ideas on what you want it to look like.

Maybe we can come close and we all can get on the same page.

This would be the best of both worlds.

I do not have interest for that, sorry.

Muklen has been working with drawings, they are now complety done.

I will pick KMS's IAT sender up and try to buy couple of meters good quality 100mm * 50mm alumium bar at next week.

Yup that's correct. Fifth "paper" flange fits quite neatly and machining drawings has been done. We are not able to do any mistakes nor compromises here but 100% quality.

After Karzza has that IAT sensor we can make final decision where it should be mounted. In this phase changes are still easy to do.

I think we should pay some attention in choosing good aluminum alloy so there is possibility for welding and anodizing etc.

regards Mukle

Nice work mate! You have great machining skills. Especially I wonder how inside cuttings have been done. You must have quite long milling tools in your machine.

Back to this thread and wonders about Trask plenum integration. Is 25mm too much rise for the plenum so it won't fit under cover?

Have anybody measured what is Trask plenum flange inside diameter and is it round within reasonable like 0.1mm (.004") tolerance?

KMS IAT has the same connector than the V-Rod sotck one.
Now it is question of IAT location, if a stock wiring is long enought.

Is this (dry) NOS injector type you are mainly using?
Thread is 1/16"-27 NPT, not 1/8".

I bought 200cm aluminum 6082 [AlSi1MgMn] bar, so the production will be 9pcs.

Not worried about the wiring.

You can get the relaction kit and extend the wiring if need be.

No help on the NOS!

what diameter do the two "venturis" have? Would this fit 60mm throttle bodies?
