Thank god there were no issues. Not even close. My property had water issues once in the past 100 years so I'm forced to pay $2000/yr flood insurance in ADDITION to my $1200 a year home owners insurance. Well last summer made that 2x in 100 years.

Glad I had the ins... But I'm not sticking around for another year of gouging. It was a freak thing last year, it rained heavy for 6 days in a row a week before hurricane Irene and a stream that runs along and behind my property had enough and decided to run off into my garage... It will probably be another 100 years before it happens again but I'm already set on getting the fawk out of New England. Taxes, property cost, weather, lack of chit to do... Ugh.

Aah, but it is beautiful riding country in the fall. Move to Vegas. You can ride year round and house insurance runs around $5 or $6 hundred per year.

Funny! That's EXACTLY where I've been looking over the past 3-4 weeks! The Pahrump and Vegas areas... Shoot me a PM and tell me some pros and cons of the area...

For starters, it has the lowest crime rate in the country. Of course that is because nothing is illegal.

I'll shoot you a pm later this week and get you the lowdown on the area.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I have a few questions, but we can stick to PM's and keep from hijacking this thread...

A truly magnificent ride. I did it with a group of guys last week, only we did Overton instead of Valley of Fire. Next time you do it, include breakfast at The Coffee Cup in Boulder City. They have the best pork chili verde omelet ever.

Not today, but yesterday... swapped out to an A headlight setup:

But, I couldn't get the headlight to keep from jiggling around with the visor on, so removed the visor and then everything stayed tight. Think I like it better without the visor:

Took it out for about 100 mile test ride, beautiful fall day here. Now it's time for new tires. My front tread is down to the wear bars on the left side.
