It'll save you alot of money to buy the service manual and do it yourself. I'm not what I would consider "mechanically inclined" and was successful in completing the job. The most difficult part was getting to one of the two spark plugs and that was just tedious. I had a friend over with his NRS and it took around 4 hours and a six pack beer or so to complete both bikes. There are some videos around here and on youtube detailing many v-rod specific jobs. Then you can spend that hard earned money on more mods! Check them out and good luck.
