Fitting HD Diamond Black shifter peg help

Would like to buy the diamond black shifter peg although quoted on all the websites is:

Features
Fits all models (except '06-later VRSC models with forward controls and '08-later XR models).

Can anyone confirm this or inform me of the proper thread size for a shift peg?

Thanks

The V-Rod models have all metric hardware. The shifter peg thread on the bike is 8 mm by 1.25 pitch. The peg you want is 5/16 by 24 pitch. Both sizes are very close to the same. The 5/16 bolt will thread into the aluminum shifter arm but will be tight. The thread will deform slightly but it will go in. Many of the HD themed parts will fit except for the shifter peg. Just go for it I did.

I have a 2012 "F".

I figured it would be something near the same.

Thank you both.

Just that shifter piece? That'll fit. I can't find my post, but I coulda swore I made a thread showing the part number and showing how it fits on my '07.
I changed it in the parking lot at the dealership to see if it would fit. No problems at all.
