Just ordered everything (pipes, fuel manager & filter) today. They were great about answering all my questions. I received confirmation just hours later that it shipped. Can't wait to get this installed next week when it arrives. I just wished I had opted for the faster shipping.

I just bought a 08 DX with your turn out pipes, fuel manager and filter. Is there a way to tell if I have baffled or non-baffled? Previous owner said they were baffled, but they are pretty loud. I'm trying to figure out if it has the right map set as it sputters around 2-3k rpms. TIA!

I am not sure what the non-baffled look like, but I can tell you my baffled TABS look like glass packs. See iff you have hundreds of litle tabs sticking slightly up all around the inside. And yes, the baffled are still very loud. I have found that the little foam ear plugs really don't help much at all.

Basically the description that WR24WHEEL gave is what the baffled would look like inside. The baffled pipes will contain a louvered core inside of them. When looking at the inside edge of the pipe you should see a ring or a donut which is then end of the baffle. If they are non-baffled then you would see nothing inside of the pipe.

Thanks wheel and Tab! I'll give it another look tonight. I didn't see anything close to the end of the turnout, but I'll stick a light in there and see if there is anything in there further.

Yep, they are non baffled. There is nothing inside and I can see all the way to the 2-1 stock piece.

My next question is how do I now which fuel map it's on?

Hi TAB Performance,

I have a set of Black Powdercoated Turn Out Exhaust Pipes (NON-BAFFLED)

Let me just say the best sounding ever =)

Now the only issue I'm having is they started to change color and fade out a little.

What do you recommend doing ? Can these be painted and if yes with what ?

I posted pics of the color change and fade on this other post: http://www.1130cc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157661

Thanks

Tab,

What do you have for a 2012 NRS? Anything new on the horizon?

Rock on

Hey TAB just ordered pipes, filter, and the fuel managment sytem from you guys Thursday. I'm looking forward to installing them as soon as they arrive. I live in Toronto Canada and Im going to support TABs on the Muscle baby!!! If you have any advice for me on the installation that would be appreciated. I will be taking pics during the process of the installation and will be posting them. Also want to say that the customer service aspect was very professional and friendly. The efficiency in response to my questions were A+ in my book.

thx again
Looking forward to installing my pipes

Ordered mine some time ago and installed the whole set up over the weekend. Side note the manager does not fit on top of the battery on the NRD. I had to mount it to the side not the middle which was no big deal

Lost my key some time ago so I am unable to hear them (TRAVESTY!) I keep replaying the youtube video and imagining.

I have to say BEST customer service possible - these guys are real professional and courteous.

Got my everything installed and removed the baffles. Sounds great and loud. Best customer service I've had in long time.
