Just bought a used one off of Craigslist for $60 (was like new). I really like it except you have to straighten up the bike to get it under it. Real nice other than that. It even lets the bike down real slow and controlled with the foot pedal - niiiiice.
Got my jack at autozone for I think $79? WORKS GREAT!! NEVER had any issues at all. I just lean the bike to me and slide the jack under it w/other hand. Easy peasy .......
Sears has all kinds of tool sets, compressors, etc on sale right now. Their little hand held multimeter is only $15. About the only thing Sears is good for these days, tools.
Does the red one have saftey locks at varying heights? I was comparing them both at the store a while back and ended up going with the yellow one. I REALLY like it too, automatically locks at certain heights and is easy to unlock with my boot. Of course it was almost twice the price though.
I have seen too many jacks fail to use one without some kind of saftey mechanism though or in the case of cars, jack stands.
