That's a really good question. Got mine broke in and put cams, exhaust, race tuner, air filter and a few other goodies in it. The bike will hit 130 in 4th in a heart beat, but still unsure what top speed is.
These bikes always have been limited in speed by gearing, nothing else. It doesn't matter how much power you have. With stock gearing you will have the same top speed, you will just get there faster.

not necessarily, i smacked the back of a stopped car in the fast lane on 77 north in NC and i'm still alive and can walk, wipe my own ass and feed myself. i still ride also.
how it going down there? haven't heard much from you. i have been flat lined 3 time in one day but i still think your chances of survival after you heart stops are very very thin. the doctors called a 1 percenter...
When I was getting my bike dyno'd, I remember looking at the speedo on the bike and the laptop and at redline, 139mph if I remember correctly but no aerodynamics involved sitting on the dyno.
I was clocked for 146 MPH in Colorado between Trinidad and Pueblo by local LEO. They wrote me up for 99. Whew. It helped that I am a LEO/Firearms Instructor in Tulsa OK. They thought I was running, but as I came off the throttle and saw lights I pulled onto shoulder. I was running crappy 90 octane gas with 10% ethanol. I had all my gear and windshield on and was laying behind shield. I have only hit 130 on the speedo in forth a couple times since then.
I have stage 2 upgrades and some head work.
One of our members here awhile back got tagged for 146 in Florida on an 2002 VRSCA, tuned, with a supertrapp. I think it was Frank_Storms but not sure he is on here anymore.
