The only difference that I know of is the crank, and the clearances for the crank. Pretty much everything else I think is done the same really between them. I got a great deal on my crank for my 1350 build, but the 1402 cranks were pretty spendy.
Yes it is a full circle. Also with a 1402, you would need larger injectors, engine brace, and other little goodies. Expect to pay around 5k for a 1350 and 7k for a 1402. (Cheaper of course if you can do the work yourself)
Most people go with larger injectors and engine brace when they do the 1350 as well. From most of the builds I've seen on here, pretty much most difference between the two crank. And heck I think I put 7k into mine easily with free labor Thanks again Rod & Lane!
Demthios shit I cant believe its that costly without labour that just killed it for me when you can get more power with a blower and turbo and have a couple of grand loose change in your pocket...
Ozracer, one thing to keep in mind with my build is that I started with an 1130, your starting with a 1250 so you won't have to have you cases machined. No matter what I was going to do big bore/stroking wise I was going to have to machine some cases unless I wanted to do a baby stroker.
shit ,i spent as much as a brand new turbo just going to 1177 ,but with all my goodies ,i can ,bolt on what ever i want in the future ,with only an adequate cam change , going u bigger aint cheap on any level
