Is the shifter pedal adjustable? 2007 Night Rod. Just got it. It's very uncomfortable to shift with any kind of boot on. It's like the pedal isn't long enough and is too low. My brother rode it and without me even saying anything he changed into sneakers. I've been riding it with leather loafers! Am I nuts? Is this something I just have to deal with? I like the mid controls but I almost have to point my foot straight down to get my toe under the shifter. Thanks for any replies....
Two methods,
1: remove bolt from center of linkage joint, loosen lock nut and adjust length, retighten lock nut and reattach link to shift output arm
2: remove clamp screw from shift output arm, remove arm from splined shaft, rotate arm and replace on different spline orientation and replace clamp screw for more radical adjustment
