Also the rubber from Lowes is for doing a repair on the exterior of a plumbing pipes and comes with a metal sleeve to connect or repair 2 pipes or a single pipe it is for a 2'' pipeand I cut it down to fit,it works well the shield has been on the bike for 1 1/2 years now and no problems.
The fairing is from a Suzuki m 109 I looked at this for about a week and had to make some mods to get it to fit, the shield is the touring one from rifle shields and then I picked up some rubber from Lowes home improvement to make the brackets fit my upper sections of forks, the shield cost me $275.00 from a local shop and I`m glad I went with the taller one it puts the wind at the top of my helmet. I have picks under my threads that I started. if you need to see the model number.
Larry, if i'm right I posted your pack the 15th. lately I had a few packs over in 8 or 9 days but in general 15-16 days is normal. sorry.. cant predict shipping times from the other side of the globe. Hope/think it will hit your doormat this week.
The brass fitting screws into the bike, it is closed at the bottom so no there is no Anti freeze etc... in it, for pressure reasons etc... I imagine, The probe or sensor from the actual gauge will screw into the fitting and read the temp that way.
