The SoCal kit is a much higher quality kit than the DDM. The light output is similar, but what you get are the latest digital ballasts which are much smaller, it's a true plug n'play setup. No running separate wires for power and grounds. If you have a bike that uses a H4 bulb, it's a true Bi-Xenon where you have HID on both hi and low beam, unlike the cheaper bulbs that have a separate halogen filament to achieve hi beam. A Bi-Xenon bulb has a solenoid that moves the element to achieve hi/low, so you get HID performance always.
