You're welcome, Red! Ask away! It's best to ask tech questions on the forum. That way all the group can share their experiences and opinions.

    Keep the shiny side up!

    Doc,

Over the last few months I have spoken to Rod and asked for his advice on several mods and fixes (that I had planned to have a shop do for me). Rod gave me the confidence to do them myself. It started with a 26tooth pulley, then cleaning and changing barke pads, then progressive front springs and I just completed a radiator and oir cooler change. I always had Patriot HD do everything (I didn't even change the oil for myself). It is not about saving a buck, but rather the experience and satisfaction from learning more about the bike and pride in accomplishment. Rod may not have touched my bike, but he certainly was the guiding hand behind all of the work. I will wear the Killer Service patch with pride. BTW - I have taken on several jobs for friends bikes in an effort to pay it forward
