Hello Jon,
It's Nick, I met you and your wife at Adam Smiths Harley shop today. I enjoyed our conversation and appreciate the advice on getting a V-rod. Could you please let me know when you and your fellow V-rod riders go for a ride so I can get to know them and the bikes? Thanks again Jon, and keep the rubber side down.
Received the riser the other day and installed earlier today. Seems like it will work pretty good. Will take it for a spin hopefully tomorrow. I need to get some loc-tite though. Need to hit all my bolts since folks have posted a lot on here about having issues with things coming loose. Have you had any issues with your F since you've had it? I've been deployed and TDY so much that I've only got around 1700 miles. Plus winters here in Germany. Have you mounted a windshield after installing the riser? I suppose I could just shift the forks up and lower the front and make it work.
What's the difference between the SE sstreet tuner and the race tuner? Other than twice the price for the race tuner? I have a Muscle with V&H competition pipes and want to add a high flow air filter. The dealership doesn't seem too knowledgeable an hasn't explained the difference between the two, only recommended I purchase the more expensive one. Do I really need all the flexibility of the race tuner or will the street tuner do what I need. They also claim that only they can make adjustments due to EPA rules this true or BS? Should I use K&N or AMSOIL high flow filter and why? Explain topless? Will adding the tuner get rid of slow down and down shift popping? Will I pick up horsepower? What about the V&H Fuelpak?
