It was mentioned in an earlier thread about the water pump bolt coming loose and that I should check mine before running my Destroyer.

Question I have is do I have to remove the entire cover on the left side of the engine or can I get to it through the small round cover on that side? Also what is the correct torque for the bolt?

The triple sprocket bolt cannot be reached from the small round cover, you'll have to take the casing off.
Before you do this be sure the oil level has been reduced enough otherwise you'll have a big mess!
The torque is 17Nm (23 ftlbs). The shop manual doesn't mention Loctite but I know some have removed the bolt, cleaned the threads and used Loctite.
Be careful when you remove the casing as the generator magnets are real strong, particularly when you replace it there is a good chanch it will try and pinch your fingers. (Be aware of the 2 locating dowels on the casing). If you're lucky the gasket will come through all this unscathed and you'll be able to re-use.

Have Fun!
