18th Annual Wegman Benefit Fund Auction

This event is held each year to raise money for seriously injured motorcycle roadracers who have been injured during competition. Proceeds from the auction contribute to the Fund, and are used to pay medical and related expenses not covered by a prospective recipient's insurance. Merchandise donated to, or purchased via the Auction are tax deductable, as The Wegman Benefit Fund is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), tax deductible organization.
The Wegman Benefit Fund is currently seeking donations for sale through the Auction. Donations include products or services which would be focused toward the motorcycle community, as the Auction attendees are generally focused on the sport of Superbike racing. Donations have included helmets, gloves, motorcycle attire, motorcycle parts and accessories, and many products not so connected with motorcycles. Children's bicycles, food, household tools; coupons for services including travel, painting, and leather repair.

The Wegman auction is held in conjunction with the Championship Cup Series (CCS) motorcycle roadraces. A full schedule of CCS races will be run Saturday and Sunday. For more race information please contact CCS at 817-332-4822 or tiffineykelcher@clearchannel.com. http://www.ccsracing.com/
The Auction begins at approximately 7 p.m. Saturday evening, at the conclusion of the days racing activities.
Participants and spectators can purchase tickets for dinner, served prior to the Auction. This year's dinner will include the FIRST ANNUAL WEGMAN CHILI COOKOFF!!! Along with the new Chili Cookoff, other food will be available, such as brats, burgers, and other side dishes.In 2003, The Auction raised over$18,000, in 2002: $16,000, and in 2001: $14,000.
