Just wondering...

Sat on one for the first time just recently, looks like fun...

Anyone made theirs street legal? Or are you all just serious track people?

They aren't street legal, but I think once I saw a thread where a guy was selling one he had converted to a street model or something?

Yeah, I know they're not street legal... but neither is my Jeep at this point.

Just wondering.

Biggest problem is the front wheel. from what I understand it can't handle the lateral load of turning on the street and will collapse.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. They'd never know. Just don't get pulled over...

To answer your curiousity:

You would need:

1. Different wheels
2. Different tires
3. Some way to get race Fuel on the road. (The engine is tuned/built for it) and would be damaged with regular fuel. This model only has the 3 1/2 gallon tank and is REAL THIRSTY!!!
4. Shocks there are no rear shocks.
5. Relocation of the Brakes and Pegs (or another set) in a more comforatable riding position. Riding like you were having sex with a orange football all of the time would be too comfortable.

Police Attention Getters--
6. Quiter Exhaust
7. No speedo
8. No Turn signals
9. No running lights.
10 No Headlight

A BONZAI RUN UP AND DOWN THE STREET ONCE AND AWHILE WOULD RATTLE THE WINDOWS OUT OF YOUR NEIGHBORS HOUSES.

I hope this helps.

so with a turbo and maybe a couple pounds lighter (mostly by the rider...) I will be in the range of a destroyer? sounds weird to think......
