In this summer the city of Hamburg will be ruled by the two-wheelers: The fifth Hamburg Harley Days are assured for one more year. The venue in 2008 will be parts of the Heiligengeistfeld. From 20th to 22nd of June, the European Harley Davidson community in Hamburg will celebrate a big party around the cult trademark from Milwaukee again.

Up to 50.000 bikers from all parts of Europe and thousands curious sightseers are expected to come to this unique city event. A large music stage and a bikers bar will offer a large range of music acts and entertainment, reaching from pop, rock and jazz to funk and country - just any music, that harley drivers are crazy about. Moreover, professional stunt- and dragster-shows and the famous ride in bike show in the inner city (Mönckebergstraße) will enthuse all the visitors. A lot of authorized dealers and customizers will present their products and works in a large exhibition on the Heiligengeistfeld. Finally, on Sunday 22nd, the big parade with up to 10.000 bikes will crown the three-day-event.

In 2006 the event attracted 700.000 visitors and established a new record. Thereby the Hamburg Harley Days are not only the biggest inner-city motorcycle-festival in Europe, but also an important crowd-puller for the city of Hamburg.

Mir persönlich hats diesmal nicht ganz so gut gefallen, zu viele Gaffer, zu voll, Verkehrsführung scheisse, Polizeikontrollen rundum.
Trotzdem natürlich wieder jede Menge tolle Bikes zu bestaunen :)
und das Wetter war auch ok...
