Next DUMB question, Break-in procudure for the destroyer (according to Harley) involves running the engine at a certian RPM until engine reaches a certian temperature. They say to measure temp at thermostat housing, don't laugh to hard, where is thermostat housing on VROD. Told you before everything else I own is softail.

Look at the RH side of the motor it's at the bottom of the rad hose, aim at the back of this section sort of the middle of the motor between the lower left and right cylinders. Bottom of the V, middle of the motor.

If you can, get yourself a good IR or digital gauge for measuring temperature. Make sure the bike is at a minimum of 170 F or 77 C before each pass. ( highest stage for the ECM to give you full power )

If you're running a Race Pac you can get the water temp gauge that mounts to the handlebars. I see most of the top Destroyer or V-Rod teams are now using this method.

Patm , how much degrees celcius is 170° F ?

170 F is 77 C

Thatīs what i tought. i wait till 80°celcius for each pass.
We donīt use F.

I think you may try to read the manual man on changing the thermostat...
