Can anyone recommend a Tuner in the Dallas area. I have decided to V-MOD my exhaust and will also change the air filter and probably go with the PCIII. Anyone how knows a tuner in the Dallas area that they would use to work on their V-ROD, please let me know.

Thanks
Ron

Also interested in this info, but I'll be looking for a Race Tuner Specialist instead of PCIII.

If I were a tuner it's were I'd be. It seems there are none in the area.

There seems to be a shortage of good ones. My rides with others from the forum show that gas mileage almost always suffers at the hands of the tuners. GLZ is the (only) exception (and he is in Portland, Ron).

It may be too far. But there is a great tuner it Austin. His name is Johnny Cheese. He does a good job with the Power Commander. But He is the only person I know that really understands the HD racetuner. If your interested I can get you his number. vroddave@hotmail.com

I've used Jim @ Texas HD. Everyone over there has been very helpful, ie. extra dyno time w/out charging me. Someday I'll post my sheets, I'm lazy and ill-equipped to scan them, but here are my #'s after add-ons (D&D 2-1, RT, High flow):
unfortunately no baseline before add-ons
1) 104.38 HP (@ 1000mi.)
71.81 torq
2) 106.10 HP (@ 2000mi.)
72.81 torq
3) 109.54 HP (@ 2500mi.)
75.87 torq
The guys @ D&D have a name of another guy that tunes on the side using there dyno, but I don't have his info. He charges $300. He used to be @ Texas HD. Also, Jim is going to RT school in Mar., I believe. I'm going to give him another try in the spring.
BTW, the D&D's seem to be getting louder after each tune. The seat of the pants after the last tune was f'ing incredible, especially the mid-range.
