I brought my 08' VRSCAW in to add some better padding and move the back another inch or so.
There is a problem in that the electrical box under the seat forces the seat molding to angle upward EXACTLY where the small of your back is.
When the shop moved the back support 1 1/2" back for my longer legs, the bump is quite noticeable.
Not much you can do about eliminating this hump. I'm bringing it back tomorrow and adding a padding layer over the hump, and will try to elevate the seat with padding to sit higher.

What company did you use. Thinking of doing this mod when dx gets in. Do you have any pics?

No pics. Not much externally that looks different, other than the back looks further back.
deleted. original post would not solve problem.

If you want a softer seat you may try what i did a couple of week's ago after finding out they was operateing on my back for the second time what a supprise when they operated on my back and then rolled me over and operated on the front at the same time.I gess that is why they called it super tuesday.
Any way back to your seat i have done this on my other bike and it worked real good.First take your seat off the bike turn it upside down and pull all the staples out. you can mark the cover if you want to but it is easy to line back up.Start at the back of the seat and pull the cover off now all you have is one peace of solid foam if you push on it it only gives where a lot of pressure is on it.Now what i do to mine is take a marker and draw line's from the front to the back of the seat about 1 inch apart then across the same way so you end up with a lot of 1 inch square's.Now take a Utility Knife and cut all your line's about 3/4 to 1 inch down in to the seat. Now when you push on the foam you can see how much more it can give with all little square's as to one solid peace.Remember your not takeing any foam out just cutting slit's in it that way your seat cover will fit back just like it was If you are worried about water getting to the foam you can take a real thin plastic and wrap over the foam before putting the cover back on i dont mine because the cover is pretty much watertite except along the seam's.
When you put the cover back on it worked better for me to tack the front first then the two tab's at the rear then the hinge side then the other then just work how ever.
The only tool's you need is a Stapler you can get at sear's around $30.00 the staple's are 3/8 and a Knife it only around a hour to do it.
hope this will help you
