Hello there,
I´m new here on the forum and want to find some answer and know how from you .
I race the European Destroyer cup and ended up to the 4thplace in 2007.
my fastest E.T was 9.467sec and 230km/u or 142.9mph.
I know that there´s a differrence with the track qualitie here and there.
When i look at time slips from AHDRA its much lower then our time´s.
What i´m looking for is some better then stock clutch plates for the Destroyer.
or can you give more tips for better and faster runset up.

grtzz from Belgium( = HELLGIUM)

per the parts manual the VRXSE use the same clutch plates as all other v-rods come with stock. Myabe you could go to a Barnett carbon fiber clutch with the extra plate, or a slipper clutch.

Do you have any expirience with the carbon fiber plates?
why the extra plate are they smaller than stock?

i change clutch plates every 2 races = 16 runs.I have tried the barnett clutches and the did not last long. I have had better luck with the harley clutches.

what is your elevation in relation to the track time here in the US that you are comparing to.

your times are not bad, I have seen worse. how is your total weight, are you over or right at the limit. it could just be a matter of your tune.

I want to go faster than 9.467sec in 2008.
best ET in Euro series 9.346sec in 2007 by swiss team.
the racer on this bike is under weight limit and caries 10kg extra & full tank.
my weight is 6kg over and 3liters fuell.
i´m tuning my body now if thats what you mean , cycling and now beers !!:banghead: bud .....working on that too .

stk plates only everything else sucks times 10 .......3 red springs 2 med .050 shim under springs with a washer on each side of the boltin arms... launch anywhere above 7800 and shift at 11000 in 1st and 2nd and 10250 every other.... use race pak for data to see how much adj your map needs... shift kill set time over 55 millisec's....this should start you out round 9.30 and under.... dont tell anyone this top secret destroyer setup info ok? oh forgot ... do not use stk gearing....i wont tell ya which way to go you get to figure that out!
