Don't know if this counts as high performance, but went to the Atlanta Dragstrip last Friday night.

Best run was 12.35 @ 107. But, I beat my neighbor on his 1800 VTX, whose best run was 13.03 (can't remember his mph).

May not be what the rest of y'all are gettin' but it felt fast to me. Fun as heck too!!

That would HAVE BEEN an 11.99 if you weren't SO BIG!;)

Not bad time at all for the weight on the bike. To make it even the VTX should have had a passenger.

Thought about going on a diet to decrease my time and fix the tire clearance issue. Or, I could just :yak: after every meal. Oh, nevermind, I'm hungry again!!:D

Max, my neighbor weighs about 250 so it wasn't too much of a handicap, just 42 pounds.

I don't know much about sport bikes / drag bikes. But they had one at the strip running an 8.8. Just scary!!
