Will this work? I have heard from some people that you must remove the supports for the saddle bags for the 200 tire to fit and some people say you don't. Does it depend on the brand of tire? I have heard that Metzler's are generally a little wider than most others. Thanks guys.

I've got 200 Metzlers with hard saddlebags on during touring season. You have to grind down the brackets. There's pics in my gallery.
Here's a how-to, although I didn't go as far... http://www.1130cc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52955

Question;
Without saddlebags, on an '03 VRSCA, can the 180 be upgraded to a 200 without any other issues? I'm almost due for a replacement.

I've got bags on my D and the 200, I had to grind one side of the bracket a little bit, but no issues aside from that.

I've got an 02 and I put the 200 metzler on it and the only mod I had to do was take the plastic piece off the lower chrome belt guard and cut off the metal area that held the plastic peice with a cutting wheel.Very simple mod. Then I added bags. The only mod I had to make to clear the 200mm tire was to grind the head of one bolt to about 1/3 its origanal thickness.It would have hit the widest part of the tire if you dont grind it. No other grinding was required on the mounting brackets or any thing else. Doug
