not sure I would call the bike a bagger............more like a v-rod with some saddlebags and a windshield, but way short of a "bagger"

really, all it needs is a trunk with backrest, floorboards, radio, cd player, microwave and a coffee maker.............then it would be a bagger

Im a proponent of the idea that there are degrees of baggerness. :)

I have a light bagger with HD leather bags, shield, heel rests, engine guards and removable GPS, XM Radio, 2-way radio, and MP3 player.

Others have the full bagger setup with hardmounted fairing containing their toys, hard bags, and boards.

Light bagger is a compromise and full bagger is a sign of commitment to comfort.

I have a "light bagger", my R and I have my "heavy bagger" flht.

I think your bagger is just as much a bagger as a Road King Classic.

Trust me, Lux would think yours was a bagger too :D I think it's looking good!

You're good to go! Leave it as it is and you'll be fine.

Nice choice in bags! Enjoy and no, this does not mean you are old. It means you are doing what you desire to do.

May I suggest a Thunder Header will complete that set up.

I may have to start a poll. Is is "Baggerness" or "Baggerosity". You'll need a fairing (there are now several I've seen that I like) if you want to go "hard core".
I'm still considering a rotax powered blender, but the mount has me stymied at the moment.

How about "baggerhood?" Baggerosis?

You need to get a real shield, not that wimpy thing. Dump the "Sport" shield and go with a Touring Shield, or if you want to be real hardcore, the Ultimate, or a Fairing.

Two pillows on the passenger seat??
my wife has a lower back issue and that is one of those magnetic car seat pads that seems to help her when driving her van. we tried it on our trip but i dont think it really helped. since then i have a buddy that both him and his wife have back issues and cant ride more than about 300 miles. he found a company in Fla called ASWEETSEAT.com that use to make handicapped seats and now does only motorcycles. he had his seat redone and claims he can ride 600 miles without any back issues. he saisd he will redo my seat for $375 using my covers. i am going to have it done this winter. i talked to him for about an hour and he is a very personable and knowledgeable guy check it out i talked to Brian the owner.

Your bike is what MoCo should be building to woo the airheads to the land of H20. You've truly set a standard.

The Airhawk solved my upper leg pain issue 100%, once I figured out the proper air pressure. Only $125.

I gotta say, I do not like the Vrod as a bagger, to each his own, but Dpierce has one nice bike.

guys thanks for the compliments like i have said before its what works for me.

Daniii i tried an AIRhawk and several gel pads by different manufactures with my Ultra and it really didn't improve our ride much. i could go a little longer but after a couple hundred miles i still had a sore butt inner thigh cramps and upper back pain and my wifes lower back pain made it short days. i may have not had the pressure right in the Airhawk as you have alluded to i just got tired of spending $70 here $125 there trying the different seat pads.

since we don't ride much more than 50-80 miles usually the short breaks are enough for my wife but after about 200 miles her back is pretty sore and we are looking to stop for the day. if the ASWEETSEAT works like my buddy says his does i am willing to spend the money and give that a try but after that i will live with what i have i guess.

I am looking for bags like those. Did you use the HD mounting system and used 3rd party bags?

Thanks!

I believe next year, Max will have to add a Bagger catagory to the online show! There seems to be more and more being added... and I am becoming inspired! Between Dennis, Daniii and sc2whls4me... dang, I'm likin' it.

I agree, but there should be at two catagories, "fairinged" and "shielded" baggers, so that some of the rest of us have a chance.

Those are H/D bags. They don't make them anymore. I have had them sitting in a box for 3 years. The boss bags are similiar and have a better mounting system.
