Just got in from Seattle today. In the Vrod class Matt Guidera was fast qualifier at 9.87. Terry V. red lighted in the first round against a 12 second bike :whack: So it was Matt and brother Len in the final with Matt winning. :plause:
Check this out; there was a guy from Iowa on a locally RENTED vrod; real good rider; he took off the mufflers, airbox cover (no download) front turn signals, mirrors, tailight, front fender, and a few other little things; about 70 lbs total and was running 11.50's consistently all weekend in ET, SEP, and Vrod. It was actually pretty cool; note to dealers-do not rent to this guy.
Oh yeah, I broke out in the first round by .005; had my guy totally covered and forgot to lift at the end. :whack:

Kaz,
Check out www.printroom.com/pro/platinumduck
Bakersfield, Sportsman, first page row 1 10th pic down; also middle row 6th pic down; I'm ET 724 those are before I changed the front wheel; when he puts up Seattle hopefully there will be some more. I know I really need to get a dig cam and learn how to post pics, dyno sheets and time slips on the forum.
I'm looking to change gearing either chain drive or Sam's 26 tooth and also do throttle bodies then I'm also going to run SEP and maybe vrod class.

the seatle pic's are now posted ,, the "rent'a racer" was a success , and DynoDave put in a fine showing also,,, only down side to the weekend was the spun bearing in the Iowa VR class bike as it was tuned for 9.60's ,,, thats life at the strip !

whats easy is running 11.40's with a stocker ,, and even more so if you ditch the stock rims (100 lb reduction) as for me , I was just transport and beverage administrator ,,,

I will Let it Slide but You should intro Your Self and Make some FRIENDS before You Try Pluggin someone"We Don't Dig SPAMMERS HERE! :chair: "

The only mistake was being a newbee Jack! But Jack is right! Clay Wilwert really knows V Rods! Clay treats everybody like long lost friends, and really loves drag racing! He really has a passon for the V Rod and knows it well. If any of you have Questions just call him 1(800)359-1980 or Wilwerts.com ,you can tell him I sent you and he will take good care of ya! He really helped me out last weekend in Seattle! He helped get me into the semi finals in the V rod class. Thanks Clay! O this is not a plug or spam, Its just a Thank You and some really good advice.Dave
