I went for a cruise with a few riding buddies today and filmed us going through a popular curvy road in Virginia called "Thorton's Gap"
Bikers come from all over (mainly sports bikes) to do this cruise.
As I didn't want to scrape my pipes again I stayed close for a while to get this video.
It's not bad.
Note: There have been four fatalities this year on Thorton's Gap. Please be careful in the twisties and know the road (any road) if you ever intend on challanging any twisties.

Nice! Sure would like some roads like that around these parts.

Nice roads. Bit like the Hinterland riding we have a round here.

Nice video, where is this place in Virginia? I did notice the road marked as 211.

It is 211 heading West from Warrenton. Beautiful country that eventually will take you to West Virginia to some more great roads and scenery.

Will do Ray.
That day we were on Thorton's Gap for about 5 minutes, but the ride including stopping for lunch and a stop at HD of Winchester was
8 1/2 hours long covering nearly 300 miles. All in all a great day!
The next time we will probably head in to West Virginia. Some beautiful roads there.
Do you have any interest in a two day trip to Va. Beach and then up the coast to Ocean City? There's some talk about doing that one this summer.
