I did a little mod to my hard bag frame, so I can get it on and off the bike in about 5 minutes..... Anyhow, I got looking at it and figured that with a little welding, a trailer hitch could either be incorporated into the bag frame, or rigged similarly as a stand-alone.

So before I go cutting my bag frames all to hell, I figured I should hunt a "spare" set up.

I'm sure David will be in here any minute dissing the whole bag/trailer idea, but I figured the rest of the VR "Baggers" would understand. So if anyone has a HD hard bag frame set, I'd be interested in them. I'll post the progress in this thread.

Be sure to post pics if you do. The hard and soft bag frames look to be the same, at least for the early models. And they are pretty sturdy - I'm supporting my tourpak on mine. But I don't know about towing a trailer....
