HD should consider making saddlebags like these for the V, that follows the lines of the bike. What do you guys think?

Well at least with those bags you don't need a kickstand just lean it over on the bag.

I wish the MoCo would have put the same kind of energy into making bags for the V.
I do not care for that ride at all, but credit should be given where credit is due....at least they gave it a good ole try.

Wow! That thing is radically different than anything else. Guys deserve their props for coming up with something original like that.

Ummm, I'm not into the chopper myself, I was aiming more on what HD could possibly create for the V rod that is both functional and follows the lines of the bike, radical looking is also a plus. (hint to HD guys browsing this site);)

If they just moved the bags back flush with the ass end it would look a lot better.

You see!!! Even they do much better than the MoCo with saddle bag design. I like them!

I'm glad you posted that Lil. That is made by a local guy, who fabs all his stuff in his shop in a po-dunk little town near here. He makes all his frames, and all his stuff is hand made.

Brilliant bikes.

I'll say it again...look at the effort and creativity that went into designing the saddlebags for these rides. Why can't HD do so for us?

I kinda like the look of the BBC bike. The lines are almost reminiscent of the Comanche bike OCC did a couple of years ago. Pretty sharp bike, I'd show up on one!

Well those Corbin Beetle Bags that Apparently "Flow" with the Vrod lines should hold a couple cups of stomach soup.
(I would comment on if they flowed or not if I could actually SEE the Focking bike undernieth those Samsonite foot lockers)

You should have seen it in person. His Frames are unreal! If I remember right, the rear end had a hidden air ride system. Hill's makes some REALLY NICE CUSTOMS.

I think that HD should put a 2 into 1 exhaust on that hangs low enough to put a decent size bag over the top of. Either that or consider a true dual exhaust and put one pipe on either side to better distribute the weight.

The highrise stock exhaust is a big limiting factor on the bag size from MoCo. The limit to the front is the line of the shock... that could be overcome with some creative shaping. Line to the rear, as was said before, should match the curve of the fender. Those changes could easily double the usable space inside the bag and normalize the shape so you can fit a laptop or something more substantial in the bag.
