Coolbreeze -

Nice clips - were you in Great Falls or Oakton (Vale or Hunter Mill Rd)? I was trying to spot some landmarks in your ride but couldn't. Might as well live in the Rain Forest as in Northern Virginia this week!

Coolbreeze,

Outstanding! Did you use the Ultra Mount and connect to the handlebars? Nice to ride the ride over again eh?

Super Kaz,

Thanks : ) There's just not enough room on those roads to wind out more then first gear.

Marilyn,

You're right!!! I was in Great Falls, VA.!!! The twisties were on Beech Mill Road and the hills (the video doesn't do them justice) were on Springvale road.

runit1971 maybe down the road after she's good and broke in. : )

sfarson, yes it is!!! I did that ride once on the bike and four times from home.
I'm going to watch once more before I head out now. Heading to First come First server service at HD. I used the mount you suggested and attached it to the handlebars on the right side to the left of the brake cylinder. It worked with the windshield on but I removed the shield to avoid any glare during this first taping. I will try shooting with the shield over the weekend. The sound should be better since the wind will be kept off the mic. It's the glare I'm not sure about.

riverratcom & Kalama, Thanks. I enjoyed doing it. This camera is my favorite mod so far. : )
I watched sfarson's cool video the other day and I went to best buy to get my own.
Hopefully I can come up with some creative stuff in the future.

Thanks , Kalama, Vincent, conan and Vroom. I'm glad you enjoyed them. I enjoyed making them.

Vroom, I bought the JVC GR-D72 camera and ordered an "Ultra Mount" from

http://www.aerostich.com/riderwearhouse.store/40ce7d2517c0c904271ed1f0ec07069e/Search/Display/1 Go to GPS and brackets. The link isn't working to the mount right now.

I very pleased with the camera so far and it meets my needs.

There's a lot of cameras out there. If you plan on ordering one of those mini camera (accessories) that you plug into a camcorder or want to tape from TV or the VCR you will need to step up a notch in price. The GR-D72 doesn't have those features.
