I took the plunge and bought a digital camcorder. Manily because I want to tape some of my cruises to play back now and then.

I made my first riding video this evening and screwed up. The camera which I mounted on my helmet (the mount I ordered hasn't arrived yet) was aimed too low. (It does match my avatar though) Didn't get any of the road ahead. I wanted to capture the roller coaster type hills I was on but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

But one fine looking speedometer it was!

Coolbreeze the important thing is we have the video issue worked out and we can now look forward to some good v-rod movies.

Hey Coolbreeze, congrats on the first video! I have a ways to go too, but it's kinda fun sorting all this out and I think will pay mucho dividends down the road. Your bike sure sounded sweet :).

Max, yep........ thanks to your help I finally got some of this video stuff figured out. Is there a limit to the file size we can upload to the site?

Duly noted Super Kaz. Will remedy that on my next ride. The only thing is, I'll be up to road speed in first.

Thanks sfarson, It's gonna take me some time before I can add background music like you have done on your videos but this movie making stuff is pretty cool.

If it stops raining here today I'll take a V-Rod roller coaster ride later and post it.
I received the mounting hardware I ordered today too.

EXCELLENT!!!!! I'll try it on the handlebars first and see how that works.
