: Nice Place you got here
luxlamf 06-14-2007, 02:18 AM Well it looks as if you all Fat Asses have been banished to a corner to talk and convince yourselves how good Fat Assed Motorcycles look. Comfy, wonder what the Xmas party will look like? You guys can exchange 8 Track tapes for your fairing decks, Cup Holder stories etc..
Remember your Hero below, Frankenstein. Have fun in the closet!

LiquidSilver 06-14-2007, 03:44 AM Cool...
Now we have a place for people who actually use their bikes as more than just a barhopper or commuter. The heritage of a motorcycle is rooted in utility and innovation. I'm sure some are happy with their bike as shipped from the factory and wouldn't dare to update their "work of art" since it meets their needs as is. The rest of us can share ideas on how to add cargo capacity and a few creature comforts.
I believe that the Revolution will be used in the next generation of touring bikes just, but until it appears, I'm sure HD will be looking at how WE use the bikes so that THEY can learn how to configure the next variant. Will it be a VROD... who knows...that's a marketing decision.
:-)

I know, the artificial purist became an authentic one I guess. You know the V-Rod in 2002 was the beginning of a long bright future. However I differ from David in that I think the product has actually improved. Later models of of anything are always consistently better and better than previous years. That's my opinion at least, and a significant portion of the rest of the V-Rod riding community feels the same way. If we were to believe David though all the rest of are wrong and he is the only right one.:stilpoke:

EZE RIDER 06-17-2007, 08:52 PM Hey this place is more comfortable and roomy than the DX section. Heres a pic of my touring machine. It's the one on the left. The other bike is a brand new nightster.

guess there is an interest in vrod baggers if Laconia is any indication.

If I did a vrod bagger, it would look like yours. Only all carbon fiber.
