If you are going to install these covers (Billet Frnt Sprocket Cover Insert, 44993-02) I suggest you remove the original inserts first.

I have had both of my Billet Inserts fall off. The top one fell off about 2 weeks ago and the bottom was missing today. The original insert was also gone in both cases. There was some adhesive still on the cover but it was soft and gummy.

Expensive lesson! :hmm:

I just had one of my stock inserts fall of of the front pulley cover also. Got a new set from the dealer and installed them double sided automotive trim tape. Very thin and sticky,should hold a lot better than the factory spot of glue!

That is reason that the Billet Inserts fell off. The stock inserts were not glued sufficently to hold the extra weight of the Billet Inserts.
