For some reason, my system won't support mpegs. ithought I had the lates and greatest for these files. Where can one go to get the download to support this file type?

Windows Media Player or Music Match either one will support mpeg.
You can download the Media player from the Windows update site,
and Music Match from Musicmatch.com
