Every time I hit a bad spot in the rode I not only hear it but feel it back through the handle bars, dealer says they could not find anything. Any suggestions or have you felt it? Keep it in the wind!!!!!!!

Tight Your Head Tube Nut a Little More and put some 15wt Screaming Eagle fork oil with 10cc more in each tube! :thumb:

Aaah, the infamous front end klunk! Start by following Kaz's advice first, of course (this fixed it for me) and, if not, then do a search on "klunk" - there have been several threads about it.

Have noticed this too. Is the cause then a loose steering head or fork topping out? As I'm dropping of in morning for overflow bottle replacement I will get them to tighten steering stem.

did you try the "fall away" check?

What is the "fall away" check?
It does not do it with every bump.
It is just noticable now and again.

RC, it's a check described in detail in the service manual (If I tried from memory, I'd screw it up) but it essentially checks to see if the steering head is tightened to specs. The bike needs to be level and the front wheel off the ground (like on a lift) otherwise no special tools to do the check. It's a 1000 mile check and then (as I recall) at 10k mi and every 10k after that. If it's within specs and all your other bolts are tight and the problem persists, I'm sure Kaz's solution will be the winner for you.
