Not only was the V-Rod part of the fastest field of motorcycles to ever qualify, but it set a personal record of its own. Andrew Hines qualified the V-Rod #15 with a 7.260 et / 177.16 mph - the fastest time ever for a Pro Stock Harley®. GT also set his personal best time on the V-Rod, with a 7.296 et / 182.18 mph.
First round of eliminations on Sunday, Hines faced Shawn Gann. Andrew knew he had to be quick. He pulled another good pass, 7.267 et / 182.58 mph, but lost the race with a red light. After two races in the Pro Stock Bike class, Andrew is currently in the top ten, ranked 7th making Screamin' Eagle/Vance & Hines V-Rod the lone Harley in the top ten of a Suzuki dominated class. And the history books' ink isn't dry yet.
