Has anyone had this happen ?
I sent Joe an e-mail , but maybe someone can help if this is not a big problem. I sorta want to ride it to work tomorrow, so I am a bit impatient on a reply from him.

My stage 2 will not work properly.
The right directional works one minute and not the next.
I took it apart and made double sure that no "prongs" were bent on the connectors.
The stock light put back on works .
I was trying to use the directionals along with the led 's .
Any ideas ?
It almost seems like a loose wire , because I can persude it to work and 5 minutes after I go for a ride it goes out again.
But the directional on the bike continues to work.

Thanks for any input.

Have you installed a load equilizer?

I was under the impression that I don't need it without the audible alarm(by reading it somewhere on the forum here).

I hope someone smarter than me can help. In the meantime pull out those hand signals and ride. :ride:

I believe it's more of a function of how many LEDs your running vs. incandecent bulbs. Are you running LEDs up front?

Everything else is stock. (lighting - wise)

Do a search on 'equalizer' and you will see that there have been different problems that Joe recommends an equalizer as a solution. Sorry that I'm not able to help more...

No just stock stuff everywhere else.
Only mod to lighting is the stage 2.

The Stage 2 has nothing to do with your TSSM. Do you have chrome switch housings? Also are you running stock bulbs in the T/S? Is the security light on after the inital 4 sec.? My guess is that there is a wiring problem from the handlebar to the frame. Tell me more. What was the last thing done to the bike? Later SKI.

Stock bulbs everywhere else.
No change in switch housings.
No changes over winter except changing to a small S/S windshield and
chrome belt guards.
Just unplugged the tailight and plugged in the led(properly,of course as it is pretty straight-forward).
No security light on (except the usual flashing when the alarm is activated) , The security system works too because I jiggled the bike to see if it did).
So that is ok too.
I talked (via e-mail) to the Doc and he will be taking care of it. He thinks he knows and I will be exchanging it.
He is a class act.Running a world class business.Period.
We just have to work out the specifics.
Thanks all.
