figgerin' out the setup to get it to stick!!!
I'm wondering the same thing. How are you high power guys getting traction?
That Avon 250 I have under mine barely has enough stick for the stock motor (frequently think it's not sticky enough for stock.)

The Eagle Guys gave me some good training on my clutch but only testing it on the track will get the sweet 60ft times I want.

http://www.mtceng.com/clutches_lockup.htm

MTC Multi Stage Lock up Clutch
Each arm represents one stage of lock-up adjustment. Arms are controlled by stall spring, thus allowing the mechanic flexibility in determing the RPM each finger will start applying clutch pressure. In addition, an arm can be ajusted to release clutch pressure at maximum rated torque your engine produces, thus keeping your motor at maximum efficiency with each gear change

Man, those are some great numbers! How did they get the AFR up to around 13.5 at redline when everything I read says go for 12.0 to 12.5 or you will have detonation problems. Are you running race gas in that bike? Did they pull out a bunch of timing? Would love to see the Race Tuner map for that setup! Probably a highly guarded corporate secret and they could tell me but then I would have to die.:box You really need to get that bike onto a quarter mile track and turn it loose!;)

I have this map on disk but is not the one I'm running.
CleanUpBoy made a sweet 200hp map that I feel is safer. My low boost map is tuned down some is still 200 hp
Are you running race gas in that bike?
YES Sunoco 110 with lead
Did they pull out a bunch of timing?
Not sure about the timing???

That is most promising :)

Another question: "Head Gasket"
Stock&modified for bigger bolts or completely different design? I mean are they flat or profiled?

Copper gaskets not sure of thickness or profile.
12mm APR studs for the headbolts.
The cylinder liners are grooved on top and a copper o-ring is embedded

I can't imagine what it is like to ride. I bet you can break the tire loose by just throttling it in 3 rd gear.

Burned up 1/2 tank of fuel really fast today. Feeling this beast out.
Not any hole shots but roll-ons in 1st gear at4k and then shifting at about 8k.
The front wheel rises or gets really light after I get back in it after all 4 shifts.
I'm running 25psi in a 200 mets not getting much spin.
Feels like you can go from 50 to 100 in one second!

I have a question for any of the motor heads. When you twist the throttle how long does it take the turbo to spool up to give you boost?

I would imagine for the first second before the boost comes on the A/F ratio would be very rich, right?

posted pics in the gallery

Got some good riding in today went 70mi. and still have 1/8 tank fuel.Sunoco 110 (purple)$5.00 a gal filled two 5gal cans at the track yesterday so went through about $25 bucks worth today.

had some clutch slippage at WOT over 6,000rpm its cooling now and I'm gonna add a spring shim and a weight to the arms on the Lockup clutch.(Ill get some pics of the inside of the clutch too)

Took it easy for the most part but man this thing is BAD ASS!

VotROD

I added a shim behind the red springs and added a washer weight to the arms on the snowflake they spread as rpm go up and apply more presser on the clutch plates. BTW the slippage is gone now.

On my test ride I whacked it in first at 3,500rpm at 6,500 the front started to come up so I hit the shift button the tire touched down and rose back up I hit the button again she touched down and started to rise again! I had to let out because I was a little crooked and was headed toward the shoulder. But that was the hardest Iv ever accelerated on or in a vehicle FOR SURE.
