Which Type of Turbos do you use?
Similar has been asked befor but this thread is about the Turbo charger itself.

Please post maker, type, datasheet (if available)
I'll start with a variety of Mitsubishi turbochargers, see attached document.

The 16T was proposed to me for top HP application, high boost at high RPM's.
I was furthermore told that the 13G should be more suitable for the V-Rod engine (integrated wastegate and popoff valve), quick response at lower RPM's and good overall performance.

Could someone please post datasheets for the 13G (or T) type charger or whatever you have installed?

Please post datasheets, I don't need phone numbers, got enough of them ;)

Attached a handy programme from Turbofast, worth a look.

Considering the ship is probably a 1/4 mile long, it doesn't really matter. It finishes the quarter mile before it starts.

When that ABB charger spools up it gets serious (max turbo rotor RPM is about 13.000 1/min), the engine is a Sulzer seven cylinder twin turbo two stroke crosshead marine diesel engine.
It has a MCR (maximum continious rating) of 40.000 HP @ 102 RPM and 35 psi boost :D
Bore 840mm, Stroke 2450mm
Fuel consumption around 95 tons HFO (heavy fuel oil)/day @ 90%MCR.

But there are even twelve cylinder engines available with more then three foot bore diameter - 100.000 HP - that's the present limit.
