When the Eagle guys started tuning my 1430 they first talked to Richard at RCC.
He instructed them to pull pressure from the lower side of the waste gate and from the inlet side of the turbo then "T"it into a pressure regulator and then back into the top of the gate this way you get the base 7.25lbs from the spring and can adjust additional pressure on top.
Race Tuner Map#1:Dyno and race map
On the 222hp/140t the regulator was set at 16psi+the 7lb spring=23lbs BOOST!
RaceTunerMap#2:More for the Street
While I was there Ryan made me a mild map set at 11psi on the regulator and makes just about 200hp and he did some great tuning on this map in the low to mid ranges and GREAT at WFO!

What stop us from going any higher was that the boost literally popped the plenum from the throttle body's at 28psi so to go higher a mod on the clamps would be in order.

This is it for now till I find a place to mount it.

Good Thing You Have Headstuds because I Popped My Head off my Motor at that Boost level on one of my Old Motors:hitfan: ! It's amazing the Kind of Force it took, but thats all part of My R&D as Larry puts it:yak: :broke: ;) :kaz:
