I dont a turbo yet, nor the big bore, but while my motor is down and apart, might as well BB! Though in the real world it would be the other way around - first boost, wear out the motor, then big bore with the boost!!! now ya talkin'!

Turbo next year, gotta get my engine together soon!!!

Big Bore, cams, extensive head work, properly tuned, 140rwhp, 98#torque. I am very happy. I plan on leaving this motor alone as I only ride on the street.

Turbo going on a 2003 VRSCA stage one:)
The turbo arrived yesterday from Custom Performance in AZ, (notice that Barnets Kevlar clutch with red springs) and I really want to throw it on the bike but I am going to pull the bike down for a frame chroming and to put the front end and 240 wide A$$ kit on as well as the custom paint job so I am trying not to be a spoilt kid :spank: and throw it on for 2 weeks :sinister: then have to tear everything down again?????? :banghead:

I purchased Brandon's, Turbohog, used setup, thanks Brandon. It was delivered on Thursday afternoon, finished the install Friday and went for a 50 mile check ride today. Man does that thing pull, the torque is unreal, you even notice it in normal driving when going up hills with the traffic, you don't have to give it any more throttle, it just goes. In regular around town riding you don't even notice it is there, but whoa, if you need the speed it $hit$ and gits. Now I need to spend some time on the race tuner and get it tuned, running the PC for now.:kaz:

Why you switching to a race tuner?

Elgavilan

Why you switching to a race tuner?

I will switch to the race tuner to keep it clean and simple. I already have a Pingel electric shifter with 2 control boxes and a bunch of wires under the cover and the PC is a little redundant since I already have the RT. Besides, with the RT there is a lot more control of engine parameters than with the PC. When I get a good map for the RT I will post it.;)
