Just put my down payment on my S-Rod Friday. They're trying to find me a different color than the one they have in stock - they only have Black Cherry, which isn't really the color I want.

But my question is... I'm coming off a 2004 Sportster, which has an integrated fork lock to keep my bike out of trouble. I didn't see anything like that on the floor model S-Rod. Should I make sure that I get the security system?

My 03 A has a steering lock. I'm not sure about the R. Some of our members that own one should be able to help.

Yes, the R does have the fork lock.

It should come with the factory security system as well right?

The StreetRod does have a lock, its on the upper triple clamp under the instument pod..
