My bike vibrates quite a bit between 3,000 and 4,000 rpm. It becomes noticeably smoother between 4,000 and 5,000 rpm. Have not yet gone beyond 5,000.
Is this in line with what other members have experienced?
Thanks.

I rode my VRSCA for the first real time yesterday and I had noticeable vibration in the foot pegs.
It did not do it all the time and I did not notice the RPM when the vibration occurred.
I'll pay more attention on my next ride.

RVZoo, Mine does too, I just bypass it and find that sweet spot...

If your haven't passed 5k rpm then you are in for a nice surprise when you do.. :)
Just be careful when you do the first few times you do it.. The rev limiter comes up real quick..

The original V-Rods have a noticeable flat spot between 3,000 and 4,000 rpm. Rumor has it that this is where they do the testing for emissions and such, therefore are set a bit lean in this rpm from the factory. It becomes more noticable when you change your exhaust out for something more free flowing. The bike really comes alive at higher RPMS, so this is where I do most of my riding.
I think the bike just doesn't have enough torque at these low RPM's to beable to cruz in this range....the price of higher technology...... :ride:
