The forum is really pretty forgiving for pictures. While the forum allows 1600x1600and 200k the gallery will allow just about any size photo to be uploaded and give you the img tag link information top link it. Since we own two dedicated servers to run this we really do have a lot of room, about 300 gigs to be exact. :)

No toes stepped on I simply prefer to keep as much information local as I can to keep the threads flowing better. If information is called up from other sources it seems to bog down some threads and links get broken in time.

If the link doesn't work, go to motorcyle.com VRSCR article (the movie link comes up in abbreviated story) - you don't have to subscribe. click where he says "I have no self control".
RI06SCR 04-01-2005, 01:07 PM I must be an idiot det.....I can't find the VRSCR Article or video :(

Yup, thats about how I like 'em, mostly quiet but bark a little when you get on it. I like pretty much everything stock on it, except maybe the mirrors, couldn't see squat out of those on the test ride I took.
Went by the dealer to check out saddlebags and whatever else they might have for the R, didn't have jack for it. When I was leaving, the guy who had bought the first one they received pulled into the service area, so I went over and chatted him up a little. He said the bike had a loud clunk over bumps and the front end would shake, he could see a little wobble at the centerline of the front tire. Mechanic figured the steering head bearings were loose and were real tricky to get just right. I'm really hoping this bike doesn't have any reliability issues.
Oh yeah, he said he paid $20,400 for it. Ouch, just bone stock. Nice orange one though.
mitch2000 04-08-2005, 01:27 PM Finally got some pics of my new blue 'R' .... better pics will follow as soon as the weather gets better!! :)

Thanks for posting the pics, those are the best shots of blue I've seen anywhere. Local dealers are getting everything but blue and it was my first choice.
Wazzat object down by the sidestand??

Mitch,
What have you bolted your tax disk holder to? Can you get a closer shot of it?
Only place they found for mine was on the back of the horn cover which looks crap.. Yours is far more out of the way..
mitch2000 04-09-2005, 07:54 AM There you go dude!!!! hope that helps.... :) and Det, its our road fund licence, not sure if you have to pay for that kinda thing in the states, im thinking you do and your rear number plate is kinda a combination of our rear plate AND our road fund licence, maybe im wrong?? ...tho i must have a rant now, we pay enough bloomin tax in with our fuel, unlike you lucky beggers, grrrr  (oh and a rear end piccy thrown in for good measure) :ride:
WipeOut 04-09-2005, 09:00 AM Thanks Mitch, think I am going to move mine down to there too.. :)
Speedy818 04-26-2005, 09:30 AM You know, I really didn't like the blue when I saw it online, but seeing your pictures, it's changed my opinion on the matter. I think I'll still go with black though...
Speedy
werewulf 04-26-2005, 10:45 AM the rear shot shows that my luggage rack hasnt been delivered yet, im going to powder kote it. i just have a t-bag strapped to the shock mount. the front shows the beginning of the long road of custom powder koting. im going to do the entire front end black. as you can see, i did the "tins" blue. i just dont like the factory paint scheme. i need ideas on changing it. the silver frame is a limiting factor. originally, i was going with the entire black fxdx look. now im not so sure.
the rear shot shows that my luggage rack hasnt been delivered yet,
Did you order the adapter plate for the rack? The description says all hardware included but I think that might be for the A and B.
werewulf 04-26-2005, 03:31 PM yup, hales said they had it in stock. time will tell. i was going to wait until i heard from corbin on a seat, as some of their seats wont fit with the rack. but since corbin is dragging their feet, i will put a harley seat on it when they come out. leather would be nice as this stock thing looks el cheepo!
