I am installing a Falicon ½" stroker crankshaft but have encountered following problem: On the rear piston oil jet I will have to machine off about 10 mm's (3/8"). :bash:
I then have to reestablish oil jets, but how do I get it reestablished? What can I use to get it fixed again? My plan is to weld some material on the lower side of the jet tube. Anybody got any ideas?
For info the piston goes 10 mm's (3/8") further down than the lower end of the cylinder sleaves.
Thnks coop - brgds.

Paul Denier at Eagle HD or Steve at V-Mod could answer that question.

Its very important that you use the "Check Valve System" that are in the stock ones, or just replant the stock ones. The check valves keep the top end from draining down. I can't strees this enough, you will break Cam Chains.
With 1/2 incher stuff, I make my own. I cut the old ones off and tapped new holes in the boss and made brass holders. So far that has worked fine. I'm sure there are other ways, Just retain the check valve [ IMHO]
