: Well I raced my R last night!
Super Kaz 03-26-2005, 01:39 PM I have been in such a FUNK SINCE TJ went to Dog Heaven!I had to get my Mind off Him.The Strip had Test and Tune so after spending the day at Gil's working the Turbo Bike'Whole Nother Story "I needed a Realese! Now the Last Time I was at the Track was Pro Stock School so my sence of speed was was Off!The Bike Reacacts so Slow Compaired to the PS Bike and I only 2 Passes all Night! The weather was Cold 55 and 30 mph Head winds, alt.2950 ft so it was Not the Best for a Fast Run!The Bike is Not setup for the drags so I would be using Stock Gearing, and No air shifter"6-7/10ths"!I have a 26T pulley comming :diablo: !Now First Pass I did a Good Burn out and a Pretty Good Wheelie on my Drop Hop!My reaction Time sucked because I shallow staged from Pro Stock School and The R is a Pig off the Line!Still Treed The Busa Boy Next to me and Won the Race!
R/T .238
60' 1.879
330' 5.050
1/8 7.707
MPH 92.22
1000' 10.024
1/4 12.032
MPH 111.67
Now for the Next Pass I wanted a Little More Power and I know the Filter is Worth 2/10s and 4rwhp so OFF IT WENT!
Martha took pics for this Run on her Regular camera so I will not have a disc till later today or tommorow but I think I have a NEW AVATAR! :angeldev: The Drop Hop Wheelie was So High and Long the Crowd Went Nuts!!!!!!!!! I stud That B#tch straight up for 30 ft! I was a Little surprised My self and The Front end Came down Hard!It took a Second to Find my Front Brakes"Feet are off the Pegs" so I really went Pretty Far down the Track :spank: !Now the R is so Tall that I'm on my Tippy Toes so it really took a long time to back up"I Should have Gotten Off"The Tire Cooled and I BLEW IT OFF at the Hit! :hitfan: I was surprised How Much More Power the Bike Had and really was to Much for the Agressive Launch I was trying!
R/T .175

So with the same 60' as the First Run that would have Been a mid to high 11 sec. run Easily!I'm Fairly Confident with the 26t Pully and Good air High 10's are very Possible! :hyper:
The Track was So Packed I didn't feel like waiting 2 more Hours to get in anothe run"it was COLD" so we loaded up and went home.
HOG DR 03-26-2005, 02:02 PM  Wish I could of been there...SAVE SOME FOR KC....Sharon thinks her "B" can wax your A$$

kspz3 03-26-2005, 04:34 PM Now we're talking...... you are back at the track - now here my challange - enter the events and see if you can bring home some cash........ put the VRod in the winners circle at LV..... do us proud Kaz and show the rocket jockeys what a VRod can do in competition with a skilled racer in the pilot seat! KSP
Sweet KAZ sounds like a good distraction to me :guns

It would be Fun but it would take a few Run to get my RT down! The Bike is So Big and Heavy that I would have Try and Red Light with they way I'm use to staging"Shallow" so that would take a few !It was a Test and Tune Cars and Bikes''10 of US :biker: "
Kevin,
after Riding Pro Stocker I'm JADED! :angeldev: 12.0 Felt like I could have Made a sandwich!! :diablo:
kspz3 03-26-2005, 06:17 PM You should be able to get that thing into the tens..... without much problem - plus it would provide actual competitive experience.... my guess is that you would excel if you put your heart into it - try it - you will like it.
Kevin

Stock for Stock the R is Hands Down Quicker and Faster! :popcorn I HATE that it's SO TALL ,but that and the Weight are the only Negatives!Compaired to a Normal  v-rod the R is Much Harder to Manuver in the staging because of it's Height.Other then that it's just a More Livelier Bike to Ride and Race. :sinister:
Good to see you back on TRACK.
HOG DR 03-27-2005, 10:49 PM Kaz, keep us informed....LOOKING GOOD...We are headed for KC this Thurs. for some tuning on Friday AM....Both Rides...Later...
