I swung by Petersons Harley in N. Miami and took an R for a demo ride today. :moped:
Not many twisty roads down here to test it out but was very impressed with it. I didnt like it in traffic though and I almost burn my leg at a light (im not used to pipes on the side). I was a little cramped on it though, I couldnt put my feet on pegs comfortably without hitting the brake. I also couldnt tuck my legs in, my knees were on the frame. Overall, its an awesome bike, but not for me so my search continues. :banghead:
maybe when some aftermarket accessories to make it more tall person friendly become available for it ill try it again

LOL I sat on one on Saturday at the dealer's open house, with a view to test riding. Unfortunately I couldn't reach the floor! Well tip-toes only so there was no way I was going to ride it. Shame really because the salesman held it up for me while I put my feet on the pegs and I really like the riding position. Looks like there might be some room for scooping out that seat though.

I agree. I have a '95 Buell S2T and I think they both sit alike, in fact when the dealer
asked me how I liked it that's what I told him. He wasen't real happy. Nice bike but I like the A model better.

not 6foot1 friendly, got leg cramps instantly after seating, not for me.
