Found a GREAT chrome and aluminum cleaner. Its called Nevr Dull.

The best part about it, is that it comes already applied to a cotton/wool like wadding. So you just tear off as much as you need, polish, and wipe it off after it hazes over... Made my stock aluminum levers shine nearly as well as chrome.

You can find it at Home Depot in the paint dept for about $5.00.

Good stuff!

I have it but some of the guys here claim that Mothers Billet Polish is the way to go. I can't find it here, (Southern Illinois) but my buddy recently went to a car show in CA and said that it was being sold there and it really makes the aluminum shine....

yes, I have Mothers also... The Nevr Dull is just as good. Again, the cool part about it is that its already on a tear off wadding so its easier to use (imo).

I have both and definately prefer the Mothers Billet. It shines much better than the Nevr-Dull and doesn't have the solvent smell. It also works much better on waterspotted wheels.

That's what I heard o2man98....wish I could find it locally.....

Hey Leon, make sure not talking about Mothers Aluminum polish. Not the same as the Billet polish. I have used the aluminum polish and it's OK but what I have seen and heard on the other, I would go with that

I found some at a Kragen Auto Parts store. I've used both the Aluminum and Billet polishes...They both work well, but the billet polish seems to be preferred by most. I couldn't tell a difference.

I have both and they both work well but the mothers billet wins hands down. See the linked thread http://www.v-rodforums.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=968 Never dull is very convenient and works great on unneglected clean surfaces but the mothers works much better on spots or pits.

I double checked my can of Mothers... it is only the Aluminum polish. Not the billet...

I'll have to pick up a can and try it.

Mother's billet gets more of a shine...BUT, the billet couldn't get the water/brake dust spots off my wheels...I tried the never dull on a whim, and guess what? It worked perfectly.

Just if anyone is having trouble getting spots off, thought I'd add my two cents...

The best thing i have found to get rid of water spots fast is the Rain X fast wax that comes in a sqeeze bottle.
