Guten Tag to all our German speaking friends. My German language skills have deteriorated over the years and I need a little help with something. The intent of the following is to say:

And his name was (the) Death, and Hell followed him.

Recognize that the statement is derived from a biblical passage so it may read a little funny as it is very old. My question is, do I have it grammatically correct?

Und sein Name war Der Tod, und die Hölle folgte ihm nach.

To me that seems ok... its from revelation 6-8

Und ich sah, und siehe, ein fahles pferd. Und der daraufsaß, des Name hieß Tod, und die Hölle folgte ihm nach. ... und der darauf saß, sein Name war Tod; und der Hades folgte ihm. ...
(where Hades/ Aidēs, meaning "the unseen" refers to the ancient Greek underworld)
